Why Choose Dyson’s?
Our customers tell us that the thing that really gets their goat regarding contractors is this: ‘you can’t believe a thing they say’. How many customers have taken a day off work to accommodate a firm that, at the last minute, pleads ‘mitigating circumstances’ and cries off? How annoying is that?
And that’s not all. How often have you heard stories about builders who provide a quotation, begin work and then (with a sharp intake of breath and a defeated glance towards Heaven) announce that due to ‘unforeseen problems’, the quoted price is just not enough?
And what about those fly-by-nights who ask you to pay in advance for materials and then disappear, for weeks on end or even forever?

We’d just had a conservatory built and we felt we needed some work to complete the transformation. We wanted some Indian stone flagging, a garden wall building and an extension to our fence.
‘We spent a lot of time ‘keeping our eyes open’, collecting business cards and so on. But it was a little bit bewildering because all the firms make the same promises.
‘In the end, I decided to call friends to see if they could recommend anybody, and that’s how we were introduced to Ken Dyson.
Ken came round promptly, and after a long time weighing up the job, he gave us a verbal estimate that he followed up with a written quotation.
‘We gave the go-ahead and Ken and Andy turned up on time as promised..

The jobs took a week, and whilstthe men were there we got them to do an additional job for us.
‘I was very impressed with Ken and Andy. They were quiet, they worked tidily and efficiently.
‘because we’d moved the goalposts, the final bill came to more than the estimate, but Ken had been very clear about the extra costs we were incurring, so there were no nasty surprises.
‘I’d be delighted to recommend Dyson’s to friends if the opportunity arises. Already, a neighbour has been over admiring the work and asking who did it! Without any reservation at all, I can say that we were very pleased with the service we received and, of course, with the finished product.’
